We plan to open the site up, introducing three new pedestrian bridges opening up and connecting stratford for existing residents, future residents, visitors and commuters looking for a more direct route through the site.
Primary access to the site is proposed to be via elevated pathways, bridging the main podium level of Stratford Junction into the surrounding area. We will be establishing a new footbridge from the Stratford Town Centre link providing a seamless north-south connection.
We will also be creating access through to Montfichet Road providing direct step free access through to Stratford International and Westfield Shopping Centre.
At present, the site is only accessed by a small service road from Angel Lane, and this is closed to the public.
