Creative learning and skills

We will be delivering a 1050 sqm innovation hub as part of our plans. This could support:

  • Workshop and studio spaces for making and learning
  • Partnerships with local institutions and training providers
  • Skills pathways linked to creative, cultural and hospitality industries
  • Opportunities for apprenticeships and local employment
  • Supporting a year-round programme of events, festivals and community activity

Living and visiting

A mix of residential and visitor uses including:

  • 2100 shared living homes with high-quality communal facilities like gyms, cinema rooms and lounges
  • Around 1600 hotel rooms which will help meet demand for high-quality places to stay and support Stratford’s visitor economy

Public realm and landscape

Through the delivery of c. 1700 sqm of publicly accessible open space across the site, we will create a welcoming heart for Stratford with spaces for everyone.

  • A landmark piazza for events and everyday gathering
  • Outdoor exhibition spaces and over 100+ art installations across the site
  • Landscaped routes, seating and social spaces
  • Better connections across Stratford including to Stratford International, Stratford Station and Westfield Shopping Centre

Our ambition is to create a destination that is open, inclusive and connected, supporting Stratford’s growing reputation as one of London’s most dynamic cultural centres.
