The cultural heart of east London

We are bringing forward an entirely new vision that will transform this long-time disused site steeped in transport heritage into a new interactive and immersive art-focused destination, delivering acres of open space and a curated cultural experience, together with new living accommodation and hundreds of local jobs for skilled and unskilled workers.

We want to honour the site’s rich heritage in transport and connectivity, reflecting and building on its industrial past.

Our priority is to deliver an inclusive gathering space for communities across Newham, leaving a powerful legacy from day one. Together with visionary architects Squire & Partners, we are looking forward to working in partnership with Newham Council and the wider community to develop our vision and plans.

Bringing life back to the site

We’re revitalising the site for immediate public enjoyment – a purpose-driven activation project that will provide a platform for both established and emerging artists, and set in motion a wider cultural legacy.
